Leucophyta brownii, commonly known as Cushion Bush, is a compact, hardy shrub native to coastal regions of the Melbourne Sandbelt. Growing to a height of 0.5-1 meter (1.5-3 feet) and a similar spread, it features dense, grey-green foliage and produces small, yellow, button-like flowers in spring and summer.

Ideal for well-drained soils and full sun, Leucophyta brownii is drought-tolerant once established and thrives in coastal gardens and as a ground cover. Its unique cushion-like appearance adds texture to landscapes, while its flowers attract a variety of pollinators, making it a valuable addition to native gardens.
