Glycine clandestina, commonly known as Hidden Glycine, is a vigorous, twining perennial vine native to the Melbourne Sandbelt region. Growing up to 1-2 meters (3-6 feet) in height, it features trifoliate leaves and produces clusters of attractive purple to blue flowers in spring and summer, attracting bees and butterflies.

This adaptable plant thrives in well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade, and is drought-tolerant once established. Glycine clandestina is ideal for trellises, fences, and as ground cover, providing vibrant color and habitat for local wildlife. Its lush foliage and striking flowers make it a valuable addition to native gardens and landscapes.
