Dillwynia sp.
commonly known as Parrot Pea, is a vibrant perennial shrub native to the Melbourne Sandbelt region. Growing to a height of 1-2 meters (3-6 feet), it features dense, green foliage and striking, tubular flowers in shades of yellow to red, attracting a variety of pollinators.
Ideal for well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade, Dillwynia sp. is drought-tolerant once established. It makes an excellent choice for adding color and texture to native gardens, hedges, and landscaping projects.
