Rhagodia candolleana, commonly known as Seaberry Saltbush, is a hardy shrub native to coastal areas, including the Melbourne Sandbelt region. Growing to a height of 1-2 meters (3-6 feet), it features dense, grey-green foliage and produces small, inconspicuous flowers followed by clusters of red or black berries.

Ideal for well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade, Rhagodia candolleana is highly drought-tolerant and salt-resistant, making it perfect for coastal gardens and erosion control. Its foliage and berries provide valuable habitat and food for local wildlife
