Microlaena stipoides, commonly known as Weeping Grass, is a perennial grass native to the Melbourne Sandbelt region. Growing to a height of 30-80 cm (12-31 inches), it features fine, arching green leaves and produces loose, fluffy flower heads that add visual interest in late spring to early summer.
